Chancel Choir

The Chancel Choir at Wynne First United Methodist Church meets every Wednesday night for an enjoyable time of singing. We enjoy each other's company and all have an appreciation of good music. Our goal is to enhance the worship service every Sunday and with God's help, I think we do. Although many of our members are not really comfortable with the thought of themselves as soloists, most are more capable than they are willing to admit. The great thing is that they are all great "choral singers". They sing with great balance, blend and sensitivity toward their music. The loyalty, dedication, and love this group shows for their church every week is unmeasurable and I truly enjoy working with them. We are also accompanied every week by Tom Miley who does a wonderful job of adding highlights to every service and provides a true musical touch to every piece he plays. We were very lucky to find someone with his musical ability. The choir is always ready to welcome new members and would like to invite anyone interested to come to one of our rehearsals.
